Cooler Master HAF 942 High Airflow 942 CM HAF 942 Make a part of PC Gaming history your own with this CoolerMaster HAF 942, part of the legendary High Airflow line from Cooler Master. Based on the popular 932, the 942, or HAF X, is an updated, more modern case with more modern USB ports, and many of the same features we see on cases today. This was used for a CAD computer at a CNC shop. It was ordered from Digital Storm in March of 2013. A CAD computer in a CNC shop is the heart of the shop, and this computer maintained with that level of meticulousness. Every part of this computer was super clean and looked almost new. This case is a reflection of that. This may be the closest you can get to a new HAF case today. In looking the case over the extent of damage/missing pieces appears to be limited to: 1 missing drive holder for the hard drive bay (4 trays in 5 slots) 1 missing grommet on the back 2 PCIE slot covers are gone where the GPU was. I would assume it shipped that way from the builder. 1 corner looks to be scuffed/scratched (pictured) 2 of the intake/exhaust mesh panels have small scratches on them, which I took pictures of, but they don’t show on camera well. Some scuffs on the bottom. The rest of the case is pristine. It still has the PSU cover, the sliding power button cover, working LEDs on the intake fan, a disc drive, and all the wiring for the fans, LEDs, and drives. Even comes with a few extra SATA cables and motherboard mounting hardware. This is an ATX case, so all the standard ATX power supplies and motherboards should fit allowing for a cool, retro case, with all the modern components needed to run your favorite games/programs today. This case is also BIG. Very roomy and easy to work/build in. The side panels are roughly 2ft x 2ft. I’ve included a picture of how the pc will be packaged/boxed, aside from the top layer of packing and cardboard. In an effort to keep shipping costs low so you are spending your money on an awesome new case instead of wasting it on shipping charges, I’ve custom packed this case into a box made of two smaller boxes. The only other way I have to pack the case would a monstrously over-sizes box that would shoot shipping costs to the moon. I’m confident that this will be a safe, sturdy form of packaging, especially for such a tank of a case. If you have questions or concerns, please reach out. Local pick-up is an option, too.
